Khamba-la

This mountain pass is one of the highest points on the drive from Lhasa to Gyantse. It climbs from the Yarlung Valley to its 4795m apex, where a parking lot and viewpoint offer incredible vistas over turquoise Yamdrok-tso to the south. Far in the distance is the huge massif of Mt Nojin Kangtsang (7191m).
