Cemetery of St Michael the Archangel

Macau

This cemetery, northeast of Monte Fort, contains tombs and sepulchres from the 19th and 20th centuries that are fine examples of baroque ecclesiastical art. Near the main entrance is the Chapel of St Michael, a doll-sized, mint-green church with a tiny choir loft and pretty porticoes. It was built in 1875.
