Marrying Western, Canarian and Japanese flavours, this Michelin-starred restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton Abama has sent a tsunami barrelling through Tenerife's culinary firmament (possibly upsetting a diner or two with the price tag). Divided between sushi bar, restaurant and terrace, Abama Kabuki serves exquisite delights such as Galician beef loin slices with citrus sauce; the tasting menu (€107) is superb.
In addition, there are dishes such as Wagyu beef hamburger with onion and tomato, while for vegetarians, the meat-free vegetarian tasting menu (€107) is the way to go. Dress is casual elegant.
