Playa Marti谩nez

Puerto de la Cruz

The long and sandy Playa Marti谩nez is at the eastern end of town, where a large jetty filters the anger of Atlantic swells and turns them into mere gentle rollers, perfect for learning to surf on. As with other beaches in town, the sand is black and volcanic, consisting of small particles of basalt.
