Bear River First Nation Heritage & Cultural Centre

Bear River First Nation is a five-minute drive from Bear River town; turn left after crossing the bridge, then take a left where the road forks. The Heritage & Cultural Centre, built to resemble a traditional Mi'kmaw wigwam, offers demonstrations of traditional crafts and hands-on workshops, but unfortunately it's open infrequently. Phone ahead to check it's open.
