Parc National de la Ruvubu

Burundi

In the east of the country, Parc National de la Ruvubu, is the largest, and least visited, national park in Burundi, although the recent creation of some camping areas in the park might lead to higher visitor numbers. It certainly has potential as a great park with it's grasslands and riverine forests providing a home to waterbuck, buffalo, leopard and lots of hippos as well as over 400 bird species.
