About Tyler
I am a writer with an interest in topics like outdoor accessibility, conservationism, the wonder of nature, and innovation within urban centers. Much of my work revolves around the outdoors, or quick-lists on subjects like festivals, city activities, and under-visited natural destinations. Having grown up in Colorado prior to moving to Oregon, I enjoy comparing and contrasting two very different ecosystems through investigative exploration in both urban and natural environments. I also love writing fiction, consuming hoppy beverages, and when I can convince myself to get up from my office chair I enjoy the occasional run through the urban trails of SW Portland. Professionally speaking, I have experience editing, writing, and creating marketing copy, specifically in the non-profit and education sectors.
