About Stephanie
I grew up in New Zealand and hit the road at the age of 18, to travel across the globe. Forty four countries later, I now reside in Bali, Indonesia. I have climbed steaming volcanoes, explored wild rivers in Kalimantan (Borneo), found my way to some of the most remote hilltop villages, and with over 80 published stories on Indonesia and beyond, it is my mission to always get a good story.
Connecting to the cultures, living with people, devouring rites and rituals and sitting for hours with local storytellers, I know how to recognize and craft a unique story. I am a naturally curious soul and love to explore faraway lands from the remote islands of Indonesia, to India, the Buddhist nation of Bhutan and navigating Nagaland and wherever I happen to be.
