About Rachel
I’ve always had a thirst for adventure. I attempted my first solo trip, from Melbourne to Hong Kong, at age four but I couldn’t cross the road by myself, so never even made it to the airport. As a grown-up freelance travel writer, I’ve lived on three continents and visited 40 countries, which I write about for publications all over the world. I recently moved to Sydney after six years in Singapore, where I was deputy editor of Singapore Airlines’ inflight magazine.
Next on my travel wish list: Antarctica.
