I'm a big fan of long enough trips to immerse myself in local cultures, as well as their beauties and challenges. I'm always on the lookout for this kind of proximity with the locals and the players in local communities - hence my attraction to documentaries and sharing good advice. Don't lock me up for a week in a tourist resort by the pool!
For my perfect trip, I'd wake up on a bus to a friend's town, before embarking on a road trip together to his home region. Turkey and the Baltic countries are my favorites. I'm originally from Algeria and the South of France, where I lived for a long time, before making Paris my base between trips.
