About Greg
I divide my work time between travel writing and editing technical reports for international organizations. Free time is spent with family and – when I have time - playing tennis, hockey (where possible), and Ultimate frisbee. I've made the Philippines my home but I return often to the former Soviet Union, including short-term stints as a media consultant in Ukraine and as a journalist trainer in Central Asia. I've contributed to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¼´Ê±¿ª½± guides to Ukraine, Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Moldova and the Baltics. My travel focus these days is very much on slow travel and sustainable travel - even more so in the wake of the pandemic.
