About Carinya
I'm a British-Guyanese freelance writer of 15+ years who has contributed articles and radio packages to Mongabay, The Guardian, BBC World Service, Gal-Dem, Visit London, and many others. As well as living in Guyana and Ghana (somehow people still confuse the two!) I've reported from various destinations, including French Guiana, Botswana and Nigeria. My main areas of interest relate to the environment, arts and culture, and of course food.
