About Ashley
Ashley Parsons is a travel and adventure writer splitting her time these days between Provence and the French Alps. She's cycled from France to Uzbekistan and crossed Albania (750km) and Kyrgyzstan (1600km) on horseback, unguided. Her first film, En Selle: The Kyrgyz Ride, follows her childhood dream to gallop across the steppe and mountains of the old Silk Road to learn how to live as a modern nomad. When traveling, she always lets a question or topic guide her journeys -- that's how she ended up running 100 miles around the Mont Blanc on the quest for the best beer on tap in a mountain hut! Follow her travels on horseback, bike, foot, or by train.
