Andrew Bain can usually be found wandering when he should be working. He specialises in the outdoors - hiking, cycling, kayaking - and has written numerous books about adventure travel. He has won the award for best travel story on Australia from the Australian Society for Travel Writers four times in the last decade. He is a former sportswriter and maintains a keen interests in sports, as well as showing his two children the world.
