New Market

Tirana

Come here to witness Tirana's ebullient street life. Every day from dawn, traders come here to hawk fruit, vegetables, meat and fish, and whether you're actually looking to buy anything yourself or not, it's a wonderful place to stroll and soak up the atmosphere.

Recently given a massive facelift, the market is known as the New Market but is actually one of the oldest parts of the city. Some superb cheap restaurants ring the main market.
